Welcome to LxD Lab!
In a world of endless frameworks, we choose grounded action.
We believe the strongest communities are built on service and shared purpose.
LxD Lab is a collective of passionate learning experience designers who come together to solve real problems and create tangible solutions. No fluff, no abstract theories—just practical, meaningful work that pushes the boundaries of learning design.
Our Purpose
LxD Lab was founded by two learning designers–Srishti & Harsh–navigating the messy, ever-evolving landscape of learning design in India. Two friends building teams, designing programs, and constantly searching for resources that felt real, practical, and context-driven, except they kept hitting a wall:
Too many abstract frameworks, not enough real-world stories.
Too much reinventing the wheel, not enough collaboration.
Too much knowledge hoarding, not enough action.
They asked a pivotal question:
What if learning designers had a space to move beyond networking—where they could deeply engage with real challenges, capture meaningful insights, and co-create solutions that drive real change?
That vision became LxD Lab—a community of action where learning design is not just discussed, but built, tested, and shared with the world.
Our Story
Meet the Lab Rats
A diverse team of learning designers, innovators, and problem-solvers.
Our Principles
It’s all about the people. Learning is human. We design for humans, with humans (not just yet, AI).
We tinker, play, and explore. Rules are made to be broken. Experiments will fail and succeed. It’s always play-time.
We try to do difficult things (and sometimes suffer too!). Easy is boring. Hard is where the magic happens.
In a world full of ideas, action is a moat.Talk is cheap. Doing is everything. Don’t forget to pause and reflect though.
We don’t take ourselves too seriously. Life’s too short for boring meetings and jargon-filled decks. Can we loosen up a little bit and have some fun?
What Makes Us Different?
Small Cohort: We keep it intimate—10-20 Lab Rats per project. Quality over quantity, always.
Time-Bound: 3-6 months, 4-6 hours a week. Intense, but worth it.
Problem-First: We start with a problem and work together to solve it.
Output-Oriented: By the end, we create something tangible—case studies, tools, or guides—that’s open-sourced for the world to use.
Volunteer-led: This is a passion project. Everyone here is volunteering their time and energy because they are finding some value in creating value.
