What is it & why should you use it?

Sandbox is a framework for structuring online sessions that are focussed on peer-learning.

Peer-learning is really powerful - how to leverage it effectively? That is a whole different ball game! Sandboxes help with just that.

Sandbox was developed as a format for a session that could be replicated across contexts, with different audiences and topics.

How to use it?

  1. Pick one session that you want to design a Sandbox for.

  2. For this session, list down the following:

    • Audience

    • Topic

    • Learning outcomes

  3. Keeping this in mind, fill up the Sandbox template. Keep in mind the key questions mentioned in the key and design the:

    • Icebreaker

    • Instructions

    • Breakout Room Activity

    • Debrief

    • QnA

  4. Test it out once and keep iterating on the feedback you receive!

Do check out the sample entry for NextLeap’s Fellowship in the template below!

Where was it used?

NextLeap used it to design their People Leader’s Fellowship. Read more about it here.

Use it in your context!
